You can login with multiple ID’s on the same yahoo messenger.

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER ==>> Software ==>> Yahoo ==>> pager ==>>Test
On the right pane ==>> right-click and choose new Dword value .
Rename it as Plural.
Double click and assign a decimal value of 1.
Now close registry and restart yahoo messenger.

How to prevent your PEN drive from VIRUS:

Connect your Pen Drive or USB drive to your computer.
Now a dialogue window will popup asking you to choose among the options as Don’t choose any of them , Just simply click Cancel.
*Now go to Start–> Run and type cmd to open the Command Prompt window .
*Now go to My Computer and Check the Drive letter of your USB drive or Pen Drive. ( E.g. If it is written Kingston (I:) , then I: will be the drive letter .)
*In the Command Window ( cmd ) , type the drive letter: and Hit Enter .
*Now type dir/w/o/a/p and Hit Enter
*You will get a list of files . In the list , search if anyone of the following do exist
1. Autorun.inf
2. New Folder.exe
3. Bha.vbs
4. Iexplore.vbs
5. Info.exe
6. New_Folder.exe
7. Ravmon.exe
8. RVHost.exe or any other files with .exe Extension .
If you find any one of the files above , Run the command attrib -h -r -s -a *.* and Hit Enter.
Now Delete each File using the following Command del filename ( E.g del autorun.inf ) .
That’s it . Now just scan your USB drive with the anti virus you have to ensure that you made your Pen Drive free of Virus .

Remove Recycled Virus:

To manually remove it follow the following steps (Note you should understand what you’re about to do, you try it at your own risk!)

Boot your system in Safemode
Go to command prompt, in Drive C do the following commands.
Type -> ATTRIB -H -R -S AUTORUN.INF then press enter
Type -> DEL AUTORUN.INF then press enter
Type -> ATTRIB -H -R -S Recycled then press enter
In Windows Explorer in Safemode, remove the folder Recycled in drive C use Shift-Delete to delete the folder.
Repeat Step 3 to 6 for all drives of your system including the USB drive.
Search for CTFMON.EXE in your system using the Search of Windows found in Start Menu. If you find a file that is not located in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32, delete it immediately.
Dont forget to empty the recycle bin afterwards (Usually the virus will copy itself in the Startup folder of the Startmenu. Check if the file is present there and delete it then.)

Disable Auto Run of CD/DVD:

To disable autorun of drives (i.e. everytime you double-click a drive or cd or usb, it is auto open) follow the following step:

Click Start->Run->type REGEDIT.EXE
Go to this key from the register HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Look for the entry NoDriveTypeAutoRun, double click the entry
Type a new value : 03ffffff for the NoDriveTypeAutoRun and press ENTER
Reboot the system.

Block USB Drives:

a simple registry TRICK TO BLOCK USB drives (do it with care)

1. Go to Start –> Run, type Regedit.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlset\Servic es\USBStor
In the right pane, look for value Start and have value as 0000000(3)
Double click on that and change that value to 4.
You might be required to restart the PC, and then you are done with it, USB is now blocked.
In case if you want to get the USB unblocked, just change the value again to 3

STEPS to disable the USB writing option:
To edit the computer registry, first you should log onto your computer with administrative rights.
First click on Start button and type “Regedit” in Run option.
Here locate the location to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
Here in right side panel, click right to create a key with the name “StorageDevicePolicies”.
Now in left side panel, select “StorageDevicePolicies” key, again right click to create new DWORD value then label it “WriteProtect”. Set its value to “1″. But again to enable writing, set its values to “0″.

Now close the registry editor and restart your computer after any changes to go into effect.

Hide Partations and Hard Drives:

want to hide any partition of your hard disk just follow these simple steps.
1. Goto Start > Run and type diskpart
A DOS window will appear with following description
DISKPART>
2. Then type list volume
All partitions will be listed, there will be also a volume number for each partitions
3. Suppose you want to hide drive E:, type select volume 3 (Here 3 is the volume number of E:, in your pc it may vary). A message will now appear in the window saing “Volume 3 is the selected volume”.
4. Now type remove letter E . You may have to reboot the computer. Diskpart will remove the letter. Since Windows XP doesn’t have the capability to identify the unknown volume, it won’t display or show results from it. To access the content of the hidden drive, repeat the process, but in the foruth step, replace remove to assign, ie., assign letter E

Increase-ram-virtually:

To speed up your windows or to increase RAM virtually,
Right click on My Computer
>Properties
> Advanced
> Performance – Settings
> Advanced
> Virtual Memory – Change
Keep the initial size same as recommended and maximum size double of it then finally restart your PC

To see these virus you must set Windows to show hidden files -

HOW TO REMOVE IT :
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to open ‘Task Manager’, select FlashGuard.exe & click ‘End Process’
You can browse to the folder mentioned above or you can find it quickly by using ‘Search’ feature(Start Menu>>Search). In the search box type, flashguard.exe or flashguard. Don’t hit the search button ..
Scroll down & expand ‘More Advanced Options’.Check the all the box as you see in the screenshot below & hit ‘Search’ button..
Delete all the files found..
Also serch for .tmp.exe, delete DriveGuard.tmp.exe & gHmpg.tmp.exe files…
The virus files can easily be recognized with pendrive icon and delete those files.
Congrats, the virus is removed from your computer. But still some entries made by the virus files exists in registry.
Go to start->run and type msconfig and hit enter
Select ‘Startup’ tab, select & uncheck FlashGuard. Click ‘Apply’.
Delete Registry Entry : Go to Start Menu>>Run, type regedit & click ‘Ok’

It will take quite a long time for this program to load, but when you finally see it on your screen, explore the different tabs. Password resetting consists of 5 simple steps.
1. First reboot Windows XP in safe mode by re-starting the computer and pressing F8 repeatedly as the computer boots up. If you missed the right moment, you will need to repeat the attempt.
2. Then (in safe mode) click Start and then click Run. In the open box type the words exactly as following (without quotes) – control userpasswords2.
3. You will now get a pop-up window with full access to all the user accounts, including the administrators account. From here, you will be able to reset the lost or forgotten password.
4. Just click the administrators’ user account, and then click Reset Password.
5. At this moment, you will have to add a new password in the New password field, and the Confirm new password as well. Confirm the new chosen password by clicking OK.
